Our Instructors

Natasha is our main instructor, founder, and owner.  She holds certificates in personal training, group instruction, yoga, and nutrition.  She is a practicing purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Magnolia Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  Natasha has more than 6 years of personal experience in boxing/kickboxing/MMA, grappling, and Judo.  She also has personal experience in dieting and weight loss, and building muscle mass, and 5 years of instructor experience.

Natasha’s classes are known for being engaging and constantly evolving so clients are never bored with the same old routine.  She relies on her personal and her instructor experience to identify potential problems and present modifications to prolong the workout without causing pain and/or injury.  It’s the convenience and affordability of group instruction, but with the attention and knowledge of private, personal instruction.

Still not convinced?  The best way is to see for yourself!  We have classes every day, come try us out.

More about Magnolia Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Alex teaches our Monday morning classes.  She started as a regular member and took to it so well, she became our very first alternate instructor.

"I'm a wife and mom of 3 kids.  I was never a big fitness person, never stuck with a "gym" schedule, and certainly didn't have the motivation to do it on my own.  I started this fitness journey to try and lose my 50 pounds of baby weight that had stuck around for 3 years.  Little did I know that "losing the fat" would only be the beginning.  The amazing benefits that have carried into every aspect of my life have been astounding.  In this process I have not only strengthened my body but completely transformed my and my family's lives.  My mental capacity, discipline, and confidence have increased tremendously!  I hit goals that I never thought were possible 5 years ago.  I love sharing my journey with others while I help them on theirs."

What is your favorite skill/workout/muscle group?

I love doing Natasha's custom, one-of-a-kind combos, and back/bicep strength training.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love being a mom, cooking and baking, crafting, and of course, kickboxing!

What message would you give to new members?

I want members to know we are accessible.  We have skill levels from brand new beginners to seasoned, attending-every-possible-class veterans.  We push each other to do the best we can.  Come join our gym family!

Leah is our newest instructor.  She teaches our Tuesday evening classes.  She is very good with learning and teaching the combos, both new and old, and she is a great motivator!

"I'm a wife and mom to 3 girls.  I grew up in Tomball, graduated from Tomball HS, and got my bachelor's from Sam Houston in Marketing."

What is your favorite skill/workout/muscle group?

I love all of our workouts, but I particularly love the combos and boxing!  Not only because it's a killer full-body workout, but because it challenges me mentally.  Drilling combos to be able to mentally AND physically train my body makes for my favorite workout.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I enjoy the simple things in life: just hanging with family and friends, and obviously I love working out!

What message would you give to new members?

I would tell our members that they are joining a true gym family.  We are all here to encourage, support, and motivate one another.  It's not any other gym that you walk into and have no idea who anyone is or where to start.  You walk into familiar faces, smiles, and friendships.  Set goals and we will help you reach them, and keep setting new ones!
